It is trite to say that I do not know about you, but as for me I am finding
more and more that we all need "HEARING EARS" in order to operate/live more
affectively as Christians, as friends, as neighbours.
This is not a sermon prep or a wee homily, rather a practical boots on the
ground practical need.
Today for example a better hearing ear tuned to God's Kingdom would have
saved missing church, time and frustration. At the end of the day HE knew that
we would discover our snowblower was frozen*. HE knew where I had left my heat
gun. We did feel a check in our spirits not to go out because another local
church cancelled their service and we travel twenty miles south.
So of course he works good or bad things out for our good. But Jesus said, "I
always do the will of my Father!" Therefore He always heard. He also said, "My
my sheep hear my voice."
Oh to be a 100 percent "HEARER"...
In other words let's not get down on ourselves, BUT GOD...
can always lift us to higher levels in the school of Heaven.
Jesus Himself, grew in grace and favour with the Father. Amen.
PS * If my neighbour had come to use the snowblower, it could have broken the
belt.
